This a range of traditionally inspired wall lights. All feature a beautifully simple, single, wall bracket made in Britain and antiqued to emulate age and years of use. Taking the lines of early gas light brackets and then used in electrical lighting through the late C19th, C20th and C21st, this is a timeless, unadorned design. The choice of shades (all made in Europe) range from modern influenced clear shades that celebrate the latest range of Edison styled bulbs, through the mid century Holophane or prismatic shades designed to throw maximum light, traditionally inspired globes to the traditional simple flared bell shades that hark back to an earlier era.
Choose whether to mount the lamp in a traditional way on an oak backplate (or pateras) that you can wax and polish or paint as you wish, or mount the light without for a slightly more modern touch.
We recommend the use of modern LED bulbs and, if used, there is no restriction on its power. If old, filament (incandescent) bulbs are used then a maximum of 40w is recommended.
Projection from the wall is around 200mm to 230mm depending on the shade chosen.
Diameter of the backplate is 60mm.
Width of the lamp is between 100mm and 150mm depending on the shade chosen.
